“Black Origin” is a table created in collaboration with Andy Rae for Dragon Army Home Office, a space designed by Joshua Joseph Interiors. It is constructed of black dyed ash and supported by a trestle base. The trestle design dates back to the Middle Ages, and was originally popular because it made tables easy to dismantle and transport; over time the style became a fixture everywhere from castles to monasteries to homes to workshops. This particular design is a modern interpretation of the traditional craftsman trestle table.
